The Launch of My Work Signals™ Assessment

Since fully launching my coaching and advisory practice in May 2021 — five years ago this week — I have made it a habit to develop and co-develop tailored proprietary tools, frameworks, and assessments to best serve my clients.

My latest — currently in beta — is called WorkSignals™. If you are reading this, I invite you to take it to both benefit from it and to share your feedback with me. The purpose of WorkSignals is to capture the signals that indicate your work life health — at a point in time — across six domains:
  • How I work
  • How I feel about my work
  • How enabled I am to do my work
  • How I work with others
  • When I work
  • Where I work
The signals you get from these domains — individually and collectively — serve as an indicator of how you are experiencing your work. With these signals understood, you can hone in on the areas in your work life that are the healthiest, as well as those that are less healthy and need the most attention. The intent is that you use your WorkSignals assessment to raise your awareness that a change is needed — or not, in the case of healthy signals — and then work with a coach, your manager (where appropriate), a mentor, or others you trust to both clarify the change and, importantly, act on it. If you use the same email each time, the assessment will remember your prior WorkSignals, allowing you to see changes in your signals from then to now. The real power of WorkSignals comes from its ability to quickly and effectively identify the areas on which to focus first, to find the clearest signals through the noise in your work life.
